Justin Theroux’s transformation in The Devil Wears Prada 2 is apparently SO wild that fans literally couldn’t find him in the movie. One viewer spilled the tea on X: “Justin Theroux is unrecognizable in Devil Wears Prada 2. Saw his name in the opening credits and I spent the entire time waiting for him to show up.”

Yeah. His NAME was right there in the credits. And people still missed him. That’s the level of glow-up we’re talking about here.

The sequel, which just hit theaters, clearly pushed Theroux to completely reinvent himself for the role. Whether we’re talking a dramatic physical transformation, prosthetics, or just a seriously committed acting choice, the man went THERE. And audiences are shook.

Is this a flex or a red flag? Honestly? Both. The fact that fans are this thrown off means Theroux committed hard to whatever he was doing. But also, maybe the point is to be recognizable enough that people actually SEE you in the movie you’re starring in.
