Paul Walker’s death in 2013 has always been the elephant in the room for the franchise. Bringing back his character Brian O’Conner for “Fast Forever” would be huge—but also incredibly complicated. Universal hasn’t officially confirmed whether they’re even considering it, so clearly nobody’s ready to go on record about it yet.
