Josh Duggar’s Prison Transfer Just Got Way Worse for His Family

Josh Duggar’s already rough situation just got a whole lot harder. The former “19 Kids and Counting” star has been transferred to a federal prison in Ohio — and we’re talking a serious distance from his family in Arkansas. This isn’t just an inconvenience. His wife and kids are going to have an incredibly tough time visiting him.
The disgraced reality TV personality is currently serving his sentence after his 2021 conviction on child sexual abuse material charges. Between the relocation and everything else he’s dealing with behind bars, family visits are about to become way more complicated logistically and financially.
For the Duggar family, who’s already been through the PR nightmare of Josh’s arrest and trial, this transfer adds another layer of difficulty to an already painful situation. Getting from Arkansas to Ohio isn’t cheap or quick, and frequent visits just became pretty much off the table for his wife and children.
