Judge Blocks Aaron’s Creditor From Touching Denise’s Paychecks
Denise Richards just caught a major break. A judge has officially shut down one of her estranged husband Aaron Phypers’ creditors who tried to seize her wages to cover his massive debt. Yeah, they really went there — but the court said absolutely not.
The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star was facing the possibility of losing chunks of her paycheck to satisfy Aaron’s financial obligations. His creditor filed to garnish her wages, but the judge wasn’t having it. The ruling protects Denise’s income from being touched, which means she can actually keep what she earns.
This is huge because Aaron’s debt situation is seriously out of control. But the court basically said that Denise isn’t responsible for footing his bills — even if they’re still legally married. Her money stays hers.
