Richard Hatch SNUBBED from Survivor 50 finale — and CBS just fired back

Richard Hatch, the OG Survivor winner who literally wrote the rulebook for reality TV, is claiming CBS left him off the guest list for the show’s massive 50th-season finale. Yeah, you read that right. The guy who started it all says he got ghosted.

Hatch went public with the drama, revealing he wasn’t invited to the celebration event. CBS wasted no time shutting that down, firing back with their own statement. The network apparently has a different story about what went down — though they haven’t spilled all the tea yet.

Here’s the kicker: Hatch’s relationship with Survivor has been complicated, to say the least. The reality TV legend famously did prison time for tax evasion after winning the first season back in 2000. He won a million bucks and didn’t pay Uncle Sam. It’s messy. It’s stayed messy.

So now the question is: did CBS intentionally bench him, or is there more to this story? Either way, the timing is awkward as hell. Survivor 50 is a HUGE milestone, and having the original winner in the room would’ve been iconic. Instead, we’re getting a he-said-she-said situation that’s definitely not the vibe CBS wanted heading into the finale.
